First, my lawful debts are to be paid.
To my niece ELIZABETH BLAGRAVE - Negro girl Nancy.
To my sister Susanna Toone - my tract of land in Mecklenburg County, during her natural life.
To my nephew Jacobus Christopher - at the death of Susanna, the said tract of land. Jacobus is the son of my brother David. I also give Jacobus my books and clothes.
To Susanna Christopher Thompson [relationship not stated] - the use and profits of Negroes Young Dick, Cyrus, Lucy, and Frank, when she reaches 18 or marries. If she has no heirs of her body, the 4 Negroes to be equally divided between all my brothers and sisters, and all the brothers and sisters of my wife, Susanna Christopher.

Jeffress deceased was offered to proof by James & John Jeffress executors therein named & was proved by three witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the executors a certificate for obtaining probate of the Will is granted them whereupon they took the oath of an executor & with David Crenshaw & Will Doswell there securities entered into & acknowledged a bond according to Law.
