Parmelia W N Smithson [Parents] was born about 1824 in , Williamson, Tennessee. She married Patrick Gibson on 7 Jan 1847 in , Williamson, Tennessee.

!Notes:
Charles W. Smithson (uncle) is the bondsman for Parmelia N.
Smithson's
marriage to Patrick Gibson in 1847. They were married by another
probable
relative, Pettus Shelburne, J. P.
Since Parmelia N. is without husband in the 1850 census, she is
presumed to be
a widow by then. Need to read the census to find where Tandy and
Ann are
living in relationship to Permelia. The indexes for Tandy S.
Smithson are
mis-read and his name appears as Landy in some cases.
Her brother, Nathaniel N. Smithson, is living with her in 1850.
