"mother in law", Mary J. Jones, b. May 1851 in TN, age 49, are
living with the family in 1900. Lige is a Dry Goods Merchant in
1900 and they had been married about 4 years. Two servants (black)
Meridith Smithson, age 50 and Maggie Jordan, age 54, are also in the
1900 household.
Elijah was age 81 when he died. He is buried in plot I-37 in Mt.
Hope
