Granger
Darlien Coulson, 90, of Granger died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Thursday at home. Memorial services will at 11 a.m. today at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Granger. Burial of the cremains will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
Mrs. Coulson was born in Ringgold and moved to Granger in 1971 from Whiting, where she was an elementary schoolteacher. She was a member of Federated Women's Club and Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; three daughters, Donella Watkinson of Cedar Rapids, Doreen Geneser of Naples, Fla., and Jean Donahue of Granger; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Association or Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center is handling arrangements.
